IMPORTANT : The BulkBill.Doctor telehealth service is designed for non-emergency health concerns which do not require face to face intervention, an ambulance, or a hospital visit.

We cannot provide emergency care.

If you or someone with you is experiencing a life-threatening or serious medical situation, do not wait for a telehealth appointment — act immediately.

Call Triple Zero (000) right away if:

  • The person is unconscious, not responding, or has collapsed

  • They are having difficulty breathing or have stopped breathing

  • They have severe chest pain or tightness

  • They show signs of a stroke (e.g. sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the face, arm or leg, trouble speaking or understanding, sudden severe headache)

  • There is heavy or uncontrollable bleeding

  • They are having a seizure that lasts more than a few minutes or they have multiple seizures

  • They have a severe allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat)

  • They have a serious injury from an accident, fall, burn, or poisoning

  • They have sudden, severe pain that is not manageable

How to call Triple Zero (000):

  1. Dial 000 from any phone (mobile, landline, or payphone). It’s free.

  2. Stay calm and clearly tell the operator you need an ambulance.

  3. Give the exact location (address, nearest cross street, or landmarks) and answer all questions clearly.

  4. Do not hang up until the operator tells you to. They may give you instructions for first aid while help is on the way.

Paramedics can start life-saving treatment on the spot and safely transport the person to hospital if needed. It is often safer to call an ambulance than to drive yourself or someone else to hospital.
