Long Appointment

A long consult gives extra time for a more detailed discussion. It's best for complex or multiple health issues, in-depth symptom reviews, planning tests or referrals, thorough medication checks, lifestyle advice, or preventive care.

Extended Appointment

An extended consult allows significant time for a comprehensive and thorough discussion with your GP. It's best for very complex or multiple interconnected health issues, detailed history reviews, extensive symptom exploration, multi-step management planning, specialist referral coordination, in-depth medication reconciliation, advanced lifestyle or preventive health strategies, or chronic condition reviews requiring careful attention.

Useful for the following conditions :

Complex multi-morbidity management (e.g. diabetes + heart disease + depression), new serious condition diagnoses (e.g. cancer suspicion, cardiac symptoms), detailed chronic disease management planning/review, comprehensive geriatric assessment/frailty evaluation, mental health crises or significant deterioration, family/carer involvement in complex care, detailed high-risk medication reconciliation, pre-op or post-procedure planning with multiple factors, eating disorders or complex behavioural issues, trauma or significant psychosocial issues, thorough results explanation and shared decision-making

Mental Health Care Plan

A Mental Health Care Plan consult provides extended, focused time with your GP. It's best for developing or reviewing a comprehensive mental health care plan, detailed exploration of mental health symptoms and history, risk assessment, coordinated referral to psychologists or psychiatrists, thorough medication review and adjustment, safety planning, crisis support strategies, lifestyle and coping skill recommendations, or ongoing monitoring and support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or other mental health concerns.

Chronic Condition Management Plan

A Chronic Condition Management Plan consult provides extended, structured time with your GP. It's best for developing or reviewing a comprehensive care plan for one or more chronic conditions, detailed assessment of symptoms and complications, coordinated multidisciplinary referrals, thorough medication optimisation, personalised lifestyle and self-management strategies, preventive health goals, or ongoing monitoring of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, or mental health concerns.

Useful for the following conditions :

Diabetes (Type 1/2) with complications/poor control, cardiovascular disease (e.g. heart failure, post-MI), chronic respiratory conditions (COPD/severe asthma), chronic kidney disease, arthritis/musculoskeletal conditions with impairment, cancer survivorship/ongoing management, neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson's, MS), obesity with comorbidities needing multidisciplinary care, elderly multimorbidity (3+ chronic issues), mental health with significant physical comorbidity, inflammatory bowel/GI chronic issues, chronic pain syndromes needing coordinated care

Urgent After Hours Appointment

An urgent after hours consult provides focused GP care during the overnight period (available only between 12am and 7am) for health issues that require prompt attention but are not life-threatening and do not need an ambulance or emergency department/hospitalisation. It's ideal for sudden urgent concerns, worsening minor symptoms that can't wait until morning, acute pain or infections needing same-night assessment, or other non-emergency matters requiring timely medical input outside regular hours.

Useful for the following conditions :

Acute minor injuries/exacerbations (sprains/minor burns), sudden onset symptoms (severe headache/chest pain triage/mild SOB), acute infections with fever/pain (earache/UTI), allergic reactions/mild anaphylaxis follow-up, acute GI distress (vomiting/diarrhoea with dehydration risk), mental health acute distress/suicidal ideation (initial assessment), medication-related urgent issues, paediatric urgent concerns (fever/child minor trauma), palliative care symptom flare-ups, mild post-procedure complications
